Javelinas and Art

While I was at my computer this morning my herd of javelinas ambled by, with two new babies.

Researching Hiroshige’s Ukiyo-e lithographs (which I had seen at the San Diego Museum of Art over Thanksgiving weekend) on the internet, as I was interested in his spatter technique, I stumbled onto Tomokazu Matsuyama, an artist in New York.

Here is a portrait of him in his studio in Greenpoint.
